El Andalus

Didn't all the Pepeans & Zapaterians assure us that caving in to the head-hackers, and becoming good dhimmi boys will prevent further Molotov cocktails being thrown at them? Ah, well, dream on.

Well, I wondered how long it would take for the Islamofokks to notice that Lusitania is on land claimed for "Al Andalus". Portugal is a happier place than Jihad or Planet Pepe can dream of....but, now, I have to say "was".
It is war, friends. Not asked for, not wanted, but war brought by those who do ask for it and want it.
It will be interesting to see how powerful the ranks of the Dhimmi are in the heartland of this ancient fight.
Do you think, AI, that this is in part why Pepe is so convinced in his blindness? For France, after all, the direct experience of Islamic expansionism was back in the days of Charles Martel and Charlemagne. Whereas for Portugal and Romania it is far more recent?

Well, not only Romania -- all the Balkans (and even Hungary), plus of course Greece had a 500+ years fight with Islamic expansionism, and served for a goodly portion of that time under dhimmitude. But the Reconquista was partly due to the Russians -- talk about falling from Charybda into Scylla!

At any rate, que pasa in Lusitania? Not much in the news, lately.

Not much in the news, but in the article it now makes the news as one of the targeted countries. That, and the never ending search for that little British girl.
Myself, am probably going back there in April for a week's visit. It will be the first time in 34 years.
I am afraid the experience will be like that of Queiroz, when he wrote "When Last I Saw the Ramparts of my Native Land".
But then, that is what wine and the beauty of the setting sun are for.
