I'm asking this as a question, but hasn't it at least seemed as though the political Left and Right in this country was somehow united in the Afghanistan front? I thought I read how Pepe agreed with that one, but not the war in Iraq.

That was a conceit on the Left's part -- a sop to the Stooopid Ricains to help them get elected. But the Left never really intended to duke it out with the Binnie Boyz in Afghanistan, or anywhere else. You can't possibly be seriously thinking that, MFT.

I was recalling the idea that I had heard some Lefters, perhaps Joe Biden (whom, I guess, has been nearly purged from the Democratic party), who were for the Afghan war.

So yes, Tecumseh, I was actually thinking that, but it was a thought based in empiricism.

You meant Joe Lieberman, MFT? Joe Biden is the current Vice President.

Yes, Lieberman AA. And apparently Biden is burdening my subconscious.
