This is interesting. A professor friend of mine (he hails from Pittsburgh originally) and I are shaking the bushes around the northern Plains as this professor's friend, John Rodden, has tentative plans for a visit through the area this autumn.

Dr. Rodden has a helluva Orwell cv: See Dr. Rodden here, and here, and here, and here, and so on. Currently he's in Rot's neighborhood (or closer than any of us), down @ U of Texas, Austin.
