It's a parody.....right?

No. It's bloombergianly serious. To summarize the thesis: thank God we are in a hole, that gives us the opportunity to keep digging.

Pepe tries to outdo himself today.

The competition is fierce today. Pepe on a roll!

By all of this, Obama must be praying that Germany attack Poland and Japan Hawaii.

My edit of Tecs' New Repubic piece:

Rufus Gifford, the Obama campaign’s chief fund-raiser, could give Biden entrée to deep-pocketed donors in Hollywood [...] thrilled by his plug for same-sex marriage [...] during his punishing tour of Holiday Inn ballrooms over the past four years. All of which makes it unsurprising that Biden considers himself, if not the 800-pound gorilla of the 2016 field, then certainly a big-boned primate. At this point, you realize the problem isn’t that Biden can’t mount a credible campaign. [...] the image of him manning the Oval Office controls. [...] it’s not hard to imagine Chicago pining for a more on-message veep.

Duh.

Matthews channels Tecs: ...Matthews said. "[Romney] says things like, 'Oh, I just left the aircraft.' What are you, a Conehead? What planet are you from? Nobody talks like that. We earthlings have a certain language. [We say] 'I just got off the plane.'"
Kind of like when Tecs says that he just finished Coanding some ribs in the back yard and will Coanda off to his next billion-dollar CD conference in St. Tropez with Pepe.

"Ta-ta, tax-paying peasants! The trip's on you!" chirps Tecs.

About the FT article, has Obama ever not prayed that China or some other commie dictatorship overtake the US?

When are you coming by to taste some BBQ ribs done on my Coanda grill? You supply the Barolo, of course. The one you brought a while ago was really delicious, by the way. I still remember it.

Glad you liked it, Tecs. I am also happy that it stopped the anti-Italian tirades from your corner.
I don't like them much either, but must admit that their way of making artichokes beats all other cooking methods of all other plant matter, bar none.
Also, Claudio Monteverdi was a serious badass.

Getting back to the main theme of this post, here's a tweet to cap off a banner day for Pepe. Way to go, man!
