Of course, pretty much all Frenchies are lefties, no matter what their nominal political affiliation is. Nevertheless, it's a good schadenfreude to sit back and enjoy the spectacle of the official Socialist/Communist apparatus flailing about, clueless.

Yes, the center of poitical gravity is skewed way to the Left in France -- compared to say, the U.S. Eg, I would not say that "pretty much everyone is a lefty" in the U.S., despite what Pepe is trying (erroneously, as usual) to infer from what I said. But such nuances are way beyond the meagre analytical powers provided by the standard pinko-lefty mechanism of analyzing world affairs.
