Mr. Rot, Arsemaven, a couple weeks ago I finished Shteyngart's "The Russian Debutante's Handbook." I'd recommend that one too. For example, it'll read stuff such as, "And now without a drinking partner, Vladimir continued drinking." There's another chapter in there entitled, "Maybe Tolstoy was Wrong?"
