Pepean masters of the universe
"The good news is they are going to spend a trillion dollars, the bad news is they don't know how. They built this up as being a panacea. There was so much hope pinned on them to do a good job. The expectations have been so high. It's hard to live up to." You don't say.

Only the brightest and best.
Duhhh.:
The International Monetary Fund argues that potential losses on US-originated credit assets alone are now $2,200bn, up from $1,400bn just last October. Nouriel Roubini estimates peak losses on US-generated assets at $3,600bn. Fortunately for the US, half of these losses will fall abroad. But, the rest of the world will strike back: as the world economy implodes, huge losses abroad – on sovereign, housing and corporate debt – will surely fall on US institutions, with dire effects.
Don't worry, be happy. Hope, change, hope. Have some more ouzo, boys.
More dire news: Things could get worse as more budget cuts loom. The state may not be able to monitor sex offenders as required under a 2006 law that calls for sex offenders to be on GPS monitoring for life and to live more than 2,000 feet from schools and parks. In January, corrections officials said they were monitoring all 6,622 paroled sex offenders with GPS devices, after Gov. Schwarzenegger set aside $106 million in last year's budget for the program. But because the law contained no revenue-raising mechanism, authorities say it is unclear whether they will have funds to continue monitoring.
Just send them all to Pepe's backyard, together with all the Binnie boyz from Gitmo. He'll have a blast!
Giant camps in Alaska is what I think.
