Mr Arsemaven is hard-assed, as we all know. I'm a more nuanced kind of guy: by general principles, >95% of accused are guilty as hell (otherwise, why would the police bother with them, when there are a zillion other cases on their plate?) So, probabilistically speaking, this guy is guilty. I'll let AA figure out the more subtle statistical points in this argument. But the conclusion is: let it stand, unless countervailing evidence is brought.
