Tecumseh, this is not uncommon for Mediterraneans — to gesticulate wildly — but your upbringers may have impressed some kind of Scandinavian ethnic strain into you, and now it's pumping through your DNA.
I do tend to hyperventilate when confronted with cosmic idiocy. Unfortunately, it almost never does any good. But rolling on the ground in fury is rather extreme -- I never attempted that stunt, at least not in public.
