Not crazies -- just rational people making the perfectly rational calculation that it's better to cross the Rio Grande than stay put. And instantly enjoy the higher standard of living, and the freedoms, and a respite from what is basically a civil war down there.

It's like the Boyle-Mariotte law (or is it Gay-Lussac?) or something. Only question is: who pays for this? I say, put it all on Herr Rot's tab.
