Funny hatchet piece on Steyn you got there, AA! As to your question -- yes, we've been there at his talk. He looks quite formidable in person, and younger than his years. JJ and I seemed to agree he's about 40, but he's actually 48, according to WP; he also looks a bit like JJ, though much less scruffy.
At any rate, what impressed me most about Steyn is his standup comic routine -- I think he'd be great on the Letterman or Leno shows if he ever was invited. But he needs I think a more antagonistic audience to really shine. As is, there were only neocons, AI & JJ in there -- hardly the stuff to get the juices going. Where is Pepe when you need him, oy, oy, oy?
