Is this for real?
I spent some time researching this story for WP. What do you guys think -- would there be enough twists and turns here for a movie (or two)? Let's try to sell the idea to Hollywood.

What an amazing life. She must have been an extraordinary woman. There's enough there for at least three movies.....But anticommunist? Can't see Hollywood giving the green light on that part. Maybe if Chuck Norris could play her lover?
I never heard of her before, so shame on me.
Chuck Norris chews aluminum foil instead of bubblegum.
Chuck Norris doesn't sleep. He waits.
Chuck Norris once walked down main street in Vegas with a massive erection: no one survived.
...Chuck Norris Facts...
More seriously, this Frank Wisner fella seems a-okay too. There's another twist to the movie, a Romanian princess and a secret OSS Yankee agent.
Take a second look, AA: You might get away with the film in Hollywood as they were targets of McCarthy's Communist witch hunt. And I hear Hollywood is strapped for writers these days.
How about the heir-to-Dracula bit? How to fit that with B-24-flying Yanks, Hoover&McCarthy, and the rest? Hollywood would be hard-pressed.
As for Frank Wisner, yep, I wrote some stuff in that article, too. Quite a character -- all that infighting and double-crossing at OSS-CIA drove him nuts in the end. Could H-wood play this one straight, in a Bogie kind of way? No way, Jose.
Play it striaght? There are several worldviews in competition here, and a great screenplay would address them all as detached as possible.
Political Economy: Capitalism vs. Communism vs. Nazism vs. the in-fighting of all worldviews and institutions within particular worldviews. Portraying angles such as these was something Shakespeare was a master at.
How about the Dracula angle? Turns out the lady was a direct descendant of Vlad the Impaler -- see interview by her grand-daughter in this movie. So, can we fit centenarian vampires in this Grand Unified Theory?
You mean something like this AI, but with a WWII context instead of a medieval one?
...and hey, that dracula documentary looks really interesting, AI. Is it available on DVD?
