The GOP goes the prozac route

Leave it to the tone deaf GOP to find a way of attaching themselves to this election cycle's "change" mandate that simultaneously reinforces the fact that their failed policies have messed up the world to such an inhuman extent that many Americans now live their daily lives in a state of free-floating panic and paralyzing anxiety.

That sound like FCP?

It amuses me how the pinkos use the words "failed policies" as if saying "the sky is blue". Why is this bs mantra supposed to be taken at face value? What exactly are those "failed policies" these lazy bozos keep referring to, without even bothering to explain?

1) road map Bush failed to bring peace to the Gazans. Obama will.

2) katrina response New Orleans sat on its hands too.

3) democracy in the middle east Coming faster than it would've under anyone else. Iraq will be a success.

4) price of oil dropping thanks to iraq war This was a campaign promise? I don't remember it. More likely, the Arabs want Obama. I have no idea why... Oh wait...

5) i'm a unita-not-a-divida Daily Kos and the rest made this all divisive shit. W has consistently listened to the opposition and more than his predecessors.

6) standing of us in the world Europe is all on the Right now except for Spain and the UK's philo-US government. Schroeder and Chirac and Prodi are looking fro handouts from Putin. Explain that.

7) economy taking off thanks to tax cuts What would the economy have done under Kerry-Edwards?

Good response, JJ. But I'm afraid one cannot judge W's record in these partisan, inflamed times -- he'll have to wait for history to judge him. All in all, I think he'll come out better than the MoveOn/DailyKos/HuffPo/NYT/Pepe crowd have him pegged at.

With an approval rating low even by Nixonian standards, I'm curious as to how that's going to happen. What has he achieved exactly ?

Keeping the Binnie Boyz from blowing up more holes in the Manhattan skyline since 2001, for starters? Getting rid of your buddy Saddam, for another? Making the Loony Left go apeshit with BDS, for icing on the cake?
