Pitcairn, FCPs St. Helena, Awaits
Not so bad, guys. Look, it has [1] Commanding heights [2] Great sea views [3] The famous one roomed Pitcairn University, where AI could teach math, JJ could teach physics and chemistry, MFT could teach history, I could do the Portuguese thing and be the gardener [4] Whacky Nawlin's Babe moments [This just for Le Pew, when he visits] [5] Gorgeous triumphalist architecture. [6] A history of unabashed anti-authoritarianism.....

Sounds good to me. When do we set sail? Also, we need to think of supplies there. What should we take with us?
Icelandic babes reeling from banking crisis.
Yes, we should bank on reeling 'em while the reeling from the bank is good.
That, and lotsa books, Beer, books, more Beer, VCP, Beer, and an electric generator that can run on tide pool surges. Satellite dish, computers, Beer, and an extra helping of Icelandic babes, leavened with a helping Polynesian hotties [gotta keep FCP alive, nothing says its' gotta be lonely in that there rogue operation]
I have Mongol contacts as well. As far as babes go, let's not push in too far one ethnic direction or another. We can ship 'em in the world over.
You fellas got the mathematic and physics component of the new library complete (which, of course, raises the question: what should the new library be called). I'll shore it up with the Humanities component. The steady supply of beer, though, might be problematic, but there may be a solution: sugar cane, I hear, grows readily on these kinds of islands. Is everyone cool with rum? Also: bring your tooth brushes, as we don't want our teeth to end up like our American Colonists.
Buying lifeboat a la Yossarian. See you at Port Isabel.
You guys forgot something important: single malt. It can get cold at night in them Pitcairn Islands, gotta have something to warm up your gut.
AI, yes, single-malt will be important, although once on the island we might want to quickly figure out ways to ferment local ingredients. D.C. Politicos are going to be swilling all the single-malt soon, so that'll drive up the price further. And besides, we can get back to the local Farmer's Market food movement that is becoming increasingly popular.
MFT asked: "which, of course, raises the question: what should the new library be calle ?)\"
How about, Blighbioteca?
And asked: "Is everyone cool with rum? "
Drink like Jack Sparrow!
And opined: "...we don't want our teeth to end up like our American Colonists".
Hah, you North Dakotan High Plains Elitist, we West Virginee folks ain't gotta worry about no stinking toothbrush.
You'll be gumming those words before long, AA.
Get me to a Gummery?
