Yes, several scenarios run thru a guy's mind after reading that. New Mexico, of course, the place where plenty of A-bombs have been tested; also right along that nifty — easy-to-cross — border with our fine Catholic neighbors to the south, Mexico. Could a radioactive transaction have taken place at that fair grounds, later turning up in an American metropolis? Who knows. I'll bet Tom Clancy is sitting down to his typewriter after reading that story though.

Let's see how this develops. In the meantime, in other news: a guy from Bozeman wins a Rhodes scholarship. Any insight on that?

I've no insight on the Montana Rhodes scholarship guy. I knew only the mathematically minded undergraduates.....and since his name is completely unfamiliar I doubt he was in a major that used mathematics. Now, some of the undergrads I knew were really really good......but not tin general the type that would try for a Rhodes
