No -- but the ranks of "useful idiots", as Lenin termed the pinko-lefties who, wittingly or unwittingly, do the spade-work for the advancement of Communist ideology. Or, mutatis mutandis (if you catch my Latin), the advacement of Jihadist ideology.
Not Bloomberg -- he's just being idiotic, it's his privilege if he wants to -- but the pinko-Lefties rooting for Jihad, yes, that's providing aid & comfort to the enemy, as specified in Article 3, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution, which presumably you must have sworn at some point to uphold (or perhaps not, I'm not sure of that).
Well, I employ more people than you ever will if you remain in academia, and i also probably pay way more taxes than you do, or will in the same conditions. So, if you think I am leeching, you must be really ashamed of yourself. That being said, i am not sure i see the relationship between being a leech and swearing allegiance to some constitution. FYI - one needs to recite the "pledge" only if one applies for citizenship. green card holders have no such obligation.
All admirable, and surely you bring more money to the coffers of Uncle Sam through taxes than I do with my meager academic salary. But living in country should mean more than just paying taxes -- certainly not constantly spitting in the face the denizens of said country. Why stay here, if you hate with your every fiber everything this Republic stands for? If I were to feel that way, I would simply up and go.
Why stay here, if you hate with your every fiber everything this Republic stands for? Where I am (and as a matter of fact, where you live too), people would think what you stand for has no relation to what this republic is about. To state that your conservative ideology is what the USA stands for is absurd.
constantly spitting in the face the denizens of said country I am not sure what you are referring to here. If this is about the war, most of your own countrymen that I am in contact with are equally eager to see the us lose/abdicate/whatever as long as it means you leave iraq. Surely, you have noticed this from your berkeley neighbors. To throw the question back at you, any reason why you are there (or are you just "leeching")?

it doesn't take much more than this on this board to raise the suspicion that bloomberg has joined the ranks of terror.

ah, providing aid & comfort to the enemy, he?

why in the world would i have to do that?
One usually does that when living in a country for a while -- unless one is a leech.

I'm not there. Just go there sometimes. But I wouldn't live permanently there.
