No word yet on whether the former Arkansas governor asked if the Jews killed Jesus or if Catholics pray to Mary as a god. When your campaign is in trouble, it is better to focus on the trouble and fix, not set it ablaze.

I got the pic from a friend of mine (it wasn't on slate.com). I've just been waiting to use it for a Jesus topic.
Evangelicals are often confused when told that Jesus was a Jew. And every Catholic knows that Mother Mary is a God (I'm told the process whereby Mary was turned into the Divine started around the 10th-century).
Religion is so touchy because there's so much baggage with each religious word. Politicians ought to just stick with discussing Death and Taxes. We'll figure out religion individually in our own homes, or with others in temples and abbys.
