Therefore, any future ads linking Obama and Wright are preemptively declared out of bounds, illegitimate, indeed "race-baiting" (a New York Times editorial, April 30). Hey, didn't JJ meekly acquiesce in that Gray Old Lady ukase?

No acquiescence, but realization that all the race-baiters of color would go 'round waving that editorial in the air like giant posters of Stalin and repeating till true.
