What gets me despondent is hearing all the syrupy saccharine talk about Palin's family life and "life-in-the-trenches" experience. For crying out loud, what does this have to do with anything? Non sequitur, et omnia non sequitur.
What gets me despondent is hearing all this scornful Versailleanisms about the University of Idaho as fit only for peasants and one needing an Ivied degree, preferably Harvard, to qualify for basic respect as to the quality of your mind.
