Boris Johnson is smitten
Unlike the current occupant of the White House, he has no difficulty in orally extemporising a series of grammatical English sentences, each containing a main verb. Take that, JJ! But then again, he is patently not the Marxist subversive loony Lefty that some of his detractors allege. FCP is taking it on the chin, yet again.

How can there be hope without grammar?
McCain seems to stand for perpetual sabre-rattling against the terrors of abroad, and Obama wins because he seems to stand for hope, not fear.
Not that the Democratic candidate is a pushover.
He has shown terrific steel, beating off the Clintons, and defeating McCain in all three televised debates.
Wow. This guy is actually stupid.
There goes the Columbia-Harvard-Yale-Oxbridge education.
He could fight off Hillary \Roghtarrow he can fight off Putin.
Yes, that part of Boris' argument was abysmal. But he's not totally stupid, he can still turn a phrase pretty well. Oxbridge has its uses.
What's Oxbow?
FCP is taking it on the chin, but if the people send Obama to the White House, it'll be interesting to see how FCP fairs: we've only known it in GOP times.
GOP times? Both houses of Congress have been solidly Democratic since the 2006 elections, while W has been an ineffectual, lame duck Prez since then. The GOP has been imploding for the past few years, unfortunately. This trend is bringing us fast to a one-party State. Should we start ululating, in unison with Pepe?
Top of the World, Ma!
JJ: Unfortunately, WFB departed this valley of tears before the campaign started in earnest. So why do you mix him with Peggy Noonan and Brooks? Now, perhaps you meant Christopher Buckley, his son? Indeed, he'd belong to the company you mention. But WFB=/=CB.
