Arelcao Akleos said...: Hmmmm...well, Tecumseh, given only what is there in the article it is certainly possible this is one of those "ordinary" tragedies where a guy can't accept the loss of a girlfriend/wife. It would be interesting to see what else was going on in Ibrahim's life, how religious he was, etc..., but I'd wager on the current info it ain't jihadism.
What's the "for now" clincher? That he killed himself. Jihadis seem intent on maximizing the offing while the offing is good. Offing yourself is no effing good for the offing of kufr, so.....
Still, one of those "keep an eye on it" situations.
