As I Said, Our Team is Damn Good
And with the CIA it has been so Damn Good nearly all [if not all] my life. For example, when I was a wee tyke engaged in the Sysiphean task of filling Gitmo sandbags, our Damn Good spooks had just seen through all those lying exiled eyes reporting grave cracks in the foundation of the Soviet Union, and published a detailed document, written by the Very Best Men, pointing out the glowing, and ever more brightly glowing, health of the USSR. It was an impressive start to my tally of Our Teams hand on the pulse of things, and ever since it has just gotten better and better.

A classified draft CIA assessment has found no firm evidence of a secret drive by Iran to develop nuclear weapons, as alleged by the White House, a top US investigative reporter [Seymour Hersh] said on Saturday.
AA, I feel your pain. But why not try and grasp at straws -- after all, this is Seymour Hersh reporting, and you know very well that he's to the left of Lavrentii Beria. Why trust anything he says?
On the other hand, even a brocken clock is right now and then. Given the past record of the CIA, this is a very thin straw I'm grasping at, yes?
