A Litmus Test for the Film Aficionado
Did any of you see this Terrance Malick [wrong spelling , probably, fckit] flick? If you did, please give a one sentence summary, or less, of what you thought of it.

I walked out of the theatre about 45 minutes into it. Rent it if you need to see it. Otherwise, it's got the whole contradictory Rousseau European-meets-"Noble Savage" vs. the "Noble Savage" turning crazy on said European kind of thing goin' on.
The reason I went: the cinematography was drummed up as being something great. I must've built up my expectations just a little too much. I remember seeing downtown Istanbul for the first time, in person -- that was fucking great. This movie... not so great.
