In addition, he should turn a blind eye to her mistakes, he should tolerate her slips and errors, and put up with all the silly ignorant things she might say, because this constitutes part of the nature of her creation. In addition, women have surging emotions, which in some cases, might overpower their minds. The weakness with which women were created is the secret behind their attractiveness and appeal to their husbands.

Thirteenth-century western Europe monks and "scholars" opined in a similar fashion about women. Men were regarded as "perfect," and women "imperfect." A man was thought to be hot, a woman cold. That's why it was necessary for men to warm the woman's womb, and if the man got it hot enough, another "perfect" (eg., a boy) human would be born. If he didn't get the womb hot enough, well, then you get more chicks.
It's good to see the Islamic world is making leaps and bounds in creating a more egalitarian society and culture. With this analogy, I suppose we only have about another 7-8 centuries before Evolution, Darwin (or even Hume) is allowed alongside Allah in the classroom?
After reading this, and if circumcision wasn't so painful, I'd convert in a minute.
