Nothing but class

Yes, AA, you're preaching to the choir. Still, young people do stupid things that they regret later. I think you and I are probably examples. Shit that I might have done as an undergrad I wouldn't think of doing now. Shit, even ripping off that golfcart in grad school...

But the memories, JJ, think of the memories you always carry with you.

Sure, JJ, absolutely. This choir understands your preaching. But that is why I used the word "unregenerate". There is no sign I've seen that people like Ayers and Dorn carry regret for their actions. They certainly didn't have it when I first saw them in the 80s in Chicago. And if they do now it is hard to see it.
I'd point out two things:
First, the Weatherman movement lasted many years, well past the age of being "young" for those involved (who survived) and definitely not to be confused with a moment of youthful rashness
Second, the more fully one's young folly, if that is what it was, caused evil; the more deep and certain should be your future regret......If you truly do regret.
As I said; the problem is that Ayers is an unregenerate terrorist and not that he is an unregenerate flag stomper.

but possibly defensible
possibly under the 1st amendment ?

The first amendment has nothing to do with associating with a douchebag, does it, Pepe? You mean free assembly?
I think you didn't get AA's Portuguese-American sentence structure. First, get some chouriço (not from Kayla) and then give it a reread over a glass of port.

In truth, JJ, all Le Pew need do is swill some coffee and then look up the words "defensible" and "legal" in his Websters [his Kayla lovin' heart probably could not take reference to HotForWords]. He'll discover that, shockingly, they have distinct meaning.
And they say that a Chien Fou is always too old to learn!
