Since Pepe is on all fours at the moment

I'll post another of Kayla's regular customers for him.

Is this reporting, or a press release from the Obama campaign?

It is both. The MSM Party Line is very efficient.

Parse this: In the 1990s, Mr Ayers hosted a Democrat campaign event at his home, attended by Mr Obama.

Of course, this was not a random "campaign event" -- it was the event that launched his electoral career! Note that the Beeb does not say anything flat out wrong (of course -- they are too canny for that), just leaves out stuff.

Mr Obama once served on a charity board with Mr Ayers but the White House hopeful has denied having any close association with him or his views...

"Charity board"? This was very political stuff, where they handled big sums of money (about $100 million from what I recall). Again, how masterly they dismiss the whole thing. Making Pepe proud.

Ah, boys. Clinging on to any story, no matter how absurd, susceptible to change the inevitable ? I think you are the ones on all fours and, as JJ will tell you, the best thing for you at this point is to breathe deeply and not to tense up.

Uh, Le Pew, you are saying it is absurd to point out that Ayers was a terrorist? That he is unregenerate as to his terrorist activities? That he has a long standing and mutually beneficial working association with Obama through the last full decade in Chicago? That the MSM, your pathetic NYT rag for instance, has put more effort into trying to determine the parentage of Palin's child or beauty queen background than they have in checking out Obama's past?
Or how about the simple truth; that you don't give a damn about what Obama is, or who he is in alliance with, or how openly the media became a partisan arm of the Democrat Party?

Obama has run across some wacko-wannabe in the 70s? It's a total bullshit issue which apparently is having little traction among voters.

I am curious as to what the Republicans' next Deus ex machina will be though. Participation in virgin sacrifices, some child sodomy, an out of control gambling habit perhaps.

Whatever the case, Obama has learned from Kerry's mistake that swift-boating attempts are best diffused by issuing immediate forceful denials and by calling the smears for what they are.

Our man is safe.

First, they were neither wannabe's, nor were they whackos. However much you want to lie to yourself, don't waste my time trying to lie to me.
Second, you keep trying to interpret this as a campaign gimmick,as a mere game to excite or perturb voters. Thanks for that insight into the bullshit that passes for thought over the world in PepeVille. The brute fact is that it matters like hell what sort of man is president, utterly independent of party affiliation or policy stance. Obama has put great effort into hiding his past, and where information has come out it shows both a pattern of lying and a pattern of associating with enemies of this country. Which is certainly rich stuff for a man who would be president. You don't care, because, bien sur, to see Ricainia burn would only accord with your own nihilism.

C'mon man, if your endless rants and tirades are anything, they're an indication that you have all the time in the world.

You keep trying to interpret this as a campaign gimmick
No: it is a campaign gimmick. And the voters are seeing right through it.

Arelcao Akleos said...

No, Pepe, lies waste time in anything worthwile.
An absolute indifference to truth, an irritation at the very notion of truth, is your bread and butter. For you it's either convenient or inconvenient, advantageous or not advantageous, and to hell with all which doesn't enhance your Ubi Mea. That's why Vichy is You.
There is nothing "gimmicky" about the revulsion at Obama's profound mendacity. It is very real. And it shows the emptiness of your soul that you are to numb to the world to conceive otherwise. You are Versailles.

Wishful thinking? You may wish for a friend to unrepentant socialist terrorists and racist hatemongers to abuse this nation. You may put your future full in the hands of someone who systematically has sought to hide his past-- even when by doing so it contradicts his own words in published books. [Bet 10$ you've never read Baracky's "Dreams of my Father", or anything of substance by or on Obama--no, NYT puff pieces don't count]. It's your fucking head, after all.
But it's beyond pathetic for you to subscribe your wishmongering and "Spirit of '68" fantasias to others.
But no doubt about it. Obama's "vision" of things to come is one you fully deserve to live in.
