McCarthy sounds like he's transmuted the Iran doctrine a bit. You can't deter people that are ready to sacrifice themselves. This is a corollary of "they're CRAZY!!!"
I think there's a possibility there for Iran. I doubt it for the Dems.
Firstly, the more they go overboard, the quicker they lose Congress (before benefits start) and Repubs can rescind everything and look like heroes that balanced the budget (on Obama's new taxes and no new doctor spending).
It's "people who are", not "people that are". Also, "heroes who balanced", not "heroes that balanced". Tsk, tsk, tsk, Herr Rot. (Two can play the Mr Straman game.)
Funny vid. Had not seen that particular variation of it.
Speaking of Pickett: Years later, when asked why his charge at Gettysburg failed, General Pickett replied: "I've always thought the Yankees had something to do with it."
I can't argue the point? You're the one who (not "that") always picks on the most minute points of my post, instead of answering head-on the main point. It's called tit-for-tat. Take that!
"and Repubs can rescind everything and look like heroes that balanced the budget "
Yeah, wonderful. Except the Repubs don't begin to have, as a whole, the cojones for that. Do you think your beloved Johnny or adorable Pawlenty know what hardball is?

You just can't argue the point
A group that.

Princeton hires someone worthy.

All points are identical to one another, Tecs. How can some be more minute than others?
I am sorry, when you write these things, I just stop and wonder.
Are you questioning my pristine logic? That can't be. OK, let's appeal to higher authority, then:
"people who are": 1,070,000,000 hits. "people that are": 202,000,000 hits.
I win, by a 5-1 margin. Pay up, Herr Rot. Pay up.
You're in the same boat as this guy. Congrats, Tecs. Collect your Princeton job.
I was in college with a guy who ended up at Princeton. Smaller guy, if you catch my kraut. Life is a biatch.
I was fortunate enough to go to college only with idiots and unfortunate to be one of them.

Whoa Tecs!! Does Barone owe you a VCP?! That would be something. If it's just Lowry or those other corpse-chewers, then you owe it to me.
You ought to find out who's on their board.
You talking about the Washington Examiner's editorial board? I have no friggin' idea who's on it. Barone? Maybe.
Barone is definitely the heavy brain there, but I think Lowry is the chief.
Taranto: Yep, he's waay behind. Why don't you feed him the good stuff more assiduously?
