Longer wait times, fewer doctors, more bureaucracy, massive IRS expansion, explosive debt, the end of the Pax Americana, and global Armageddon. Must try to look on the bright side...
Same idea--more detailed, but less colorful: In our world of infinite wants but finite resources, there are only two ways to allocate any good or service: either through prices and the choices of millions of individuals, or through central government planning and political discretion. This choice is inexorable. Stripped of its romantic illusions, ObamaCare is really about who commands the country's medical resources. ... The Congressional Budget Office estimates ObamaCare will cost taxpayers $200 billion per year when fully implemented and grow annually at 8%, even under low-ball assumptions. Soon the public will reach its taxing limit, and then something will have to give on the care side. In short, medicine will be rationed by politics, no doubt with the same subtlety and wisdom as Congress's final madcap dash toward 216 votes.
Shit tacos as far as the eye can see. Ulululululu.
The tax wedge—the share of labor costs that never reaches workers but instead goes straight to government—will start flying towards the 50% that prevails today in most of Europe. In America, without the same welfare state obligations, it hovers near 30%.
Come back and pay up, Herr Rot! Uncle Sam needs you.
Funny. Pepe ran from France to escape the burdens of being the Aristo piece of taco he is. Ululated for years as to how nasty was the country that gave him escape from those burdens. Begged his Petit Princip for rule by Aristo.. And now he gets his wish. Wonder where he will try to escape to next. Gotta give 'em advance warnin' and all that.
Equally ironic is my wanting to stay here in socialism's crib. I think that for all the stupidity of Marxism, the real variety here in old Europe at least doesn't elect a mole.

Palau stands alone.

I want to stay here.
Not fair. We need you. Who's gonna pay the taxes?

Steyn adds this little bit of cheer:
"One Singular Sensation [Mark Steyn]
Fraternal greetings to Health Commissar Pelosi! The British National Health Service throws an inaugural ball to mark the dawn of Obamacare:
Docs Remove Wrong Testicle"
Obamaklean Medicine will be far more efficient. It will make sure no testicles are left.

UC's local html maven is referring to this.
