Joys of infantilization
Sowell not happy: John Roberts is no doubt a brainy man, and that seems to carry a lot of weight among the intelligentsia -- despite glaring lessons from history, showing very brainy men creating everything from absurdities to catastrophes. Few of the great tragedies of history were created by the village idiot, and many by the village genius.

Sometimes it does. Sometimes it doesn't. It depends on what you make of it.
Well, education can either magnify your intelligence or it can magnify your stupidity.
It cannot transform stupidity into intelligence, nor idiocy into wisdom.
Everyday, as we marvel at the consequences of What Chicago Thought Of in its application of Harvard Rulz, is a brute reminder of this.
