Whenever I read a story such as this, I'm reminded of what Hunter Thompson once said regarding the 1960s prosegregationist George Wallace (D, Alabama). Paraphrasing, Thompson said that when people like Wallace get to hell, they are going to be mighty surprised that the devil is one mean-ass black dude. Nasty stuff.

Yeah, as you said, they take care of their own in prison. From what I hear, murdering racists (no matter the skin color) don't get as rough of treatment in the big house as those goddamned pederasts. Fortunately, crooked cops do (unless, of course, the guards extend special privilege to former officers). Oh well. They'll sort it out in their new community.

Come to think of it, these guys are no longer spring chicken, anymore, after >40 years on the lam. So, more likely, they're waiting at the big house for that wild-looking fella from Florida, who tied that girl to the tree.
