That's comforting!

Former Iranian President Sayyed Mohammad Khatami and Senator John Kerry (D-MA) have expressed similar opinions and shared words with each other in the World Economic Forum in Davos.
I can just hear Pepe ullulate with joy. Les grands esprits se rencontrent. Kerry, Khatami -- même combat!

Yes. By the way, I think it's high time we reassess our respective opinions on Kerry -- after all, a man's stock can go up or down with time, depending on what he does and says. I think Kerry has been sinking deeper and deeper in a moral doodoo ever since he lost the election -- what, more than two years ago already? Is AA going to concede that, at least in hindsight, his analysis of Kerry was partly flawed at some point? Eating crow once in a blue moon is good for the soul, it cleanses the spirit, and lets one move on freely. But maybe I'm wrong, and AA will stick by his man -- well, partly, of course (not like Pepe whose knees go weak when he thinks of JFK)? Either way, an argument as to why would be welcome.

Al Gore has also joined the ranks of the moonbat. Maybe it's Demetic.

I admit that my judgement on Kerry was wrong. What struck me at the time was that he had offered McCain the Vice Presidency, and full responsibility for the WOT. So it seemed that Kerry really didn't give a rat's ass about foreign policy if it involved hard choices, and had the wisdom to let a hardass (on military things) like McCain drive that show. Given the subsequent puerility of Bush&Co, it seemed to me that if McCain had agreed that would have been the best ticket to vote for. That said, Kerry in the intervening two years has only increased his ass and rat quotient to post Carterian
levels. So I now suspect that if elected he may well have reneged on the deal with Johnny and let some oleoginous cretin like Reid, or Chomskiana native like Kucinich, "guide" our foreign policy......
I concede on Kerry [though not on Bush. the Jury is still out on him,and it is still leaning to a guilty verdict. If the election were held today I would cast a write in vote for Vlad Tepes

Let's see how the surge works. I blamed Rumsfeld for low troop levels from the beginning, typical airwad. Not sure 10 pct is going to make any difference. The new tactics of going after Iranians is probably good. Not sure why it wasn't around for a long time.
