Hey, I thought we were all set with Rudy being a total putz when it comes to running a campaign. He'd make a good cabinet minister (in the unlikely event McCain can win the damn election), but there is no way he can help McCain win a single state. Don't bother.

Cabinet minister? Didn't know he was religious.

Kinda agree with you about the states (except NJ), but that wasn't Frum's point.

Ought to think about the states though? What about hispanic voters? Not close enough? The reps have got to get them somehow before they go definitively Dem.

I think Obama is having trouble with Catholics and Rudy could help, but outside of NJ, what?

He can surely give better speeches than Romney and it would be more difficult to call a wop a racist when the criticisms have to come out about Obama when Obama's preacher called wops garlic mouths a few months back.

Dunno. I have no favorites. You?

Still pulling for Mitt? I think he's a terrible politician, but Michigan is tasty.

Caninet, minister, and Cabinet minister: read all about the concepts.

In some countries (such as the U.S., Hong Kong, the Philippines and the UK), such a person can instead be known as a secretary. The term was and is still also used in diplomacy for second level diplomats (heads of legations).

Precision, precision, precision.

If you want odds on who McCain is gonna pick as running mate, go to intrade. Right now, the top 3 are:
* Romney 21%
* Pawlenty 15.4%
* Huckster 13.7%
Everyone else is below 5%, with Rudy at 4%. Why don't you put your money on him?

Secretaries type papers. I call cabinet ministers, cabinet ministers. And I call priests, priests.

Interesting odds there. Where'd you get them? I hope they're wrong.

It's called intrade. You go to a little window up there, type www.intrade.com, and click on things.
