A. K. A. Loose Canon
Tecs will order one to clear annoying traffic. I just know it: KAPOWWW!!
More likely, annoying brain-frying jabberers. Though a zapper would me easier to use. Did Coanda invent one?
That is about 250% further than the crapshit available in my younger days.
And with a circular error probable of just 5 meters. How big was that error back in your halcyon days?
In those halcyon days of yore the howitzers, relics from the 1950's which had survived Vietnam with pathetically little rifling left, were such that if we got an individual round to land with a 50 yards radius, from a distance of 6 miles, the lieutenant simpered like a teenage girl at the sight of Justin Bieber. We really had no choice but to target via complete battery fire, so that the probability of hitting within a damaging range of the target was reasonable. The era of Ford and Carter was simply not good at all.
Carter was a distinguished Navy man. 'nuff sed.
