I am with Portman.

Ryan or Jindal are "ok"....Rubio "meh"...Portman & Pawlenty a whole bunch of bland and blander nothingness.

Natalie Portman ain't no Charlize Theron.

She sure ain't!

Romney is a spineless heretic. Rubio couldn't convince a good high school teacher that has a functioning central nervous system.

I'm for the green-eyeshades guy from Minn. Though I kind of doubt he'll be picked. Pawlenty is a bit of a doofus, isn't he? Then again, compared to Mumbles, he's like Socrates.

That's a high threshold to meet; the Mumbles Standard.

In other news: Bloomie endorses Scottie. What you guys make of this?

That Bloomie needs to do some symbolic gestures to indicate that the word "Republican" attached to his party affiliation is not utterly depreved? Seriously, if he was to support Cherokee Harvard Law over a as liberal a Republican as Brown then he'd have no cover whatsoever in calling himself "R".

Scottie would have to urge a comeback of Jim Crow laws to start sounding like some kind of (even detestable) righty. He's either wishy-washy or a goddamned out of the closet pinko. I prefer the latter, because at least it's clear to people what the game is.
I remember Tecs falling in love with Scottie because he had rented pickup and seemed vaguely heterosexual. When it came to light that he had been shot in the raw by Cosmopolitan, I thought that America is corrupt, decadent, dead and embalmed.
I don't think Alexander Hamilton had been in a porn mag for feminazi sluts, but it may be true. Maybe Edmund Burke stripped down once he got an OK from the Pope.

Tecs, Bloombagel's endorsement is a kiss of death, as far as I am concerned. Isn't he legally making heroin and soda pop controlled substances? His endorsement carries the weight of an endorsement from Senator Cherokee Princess, the Oppressed..

How could she endorse Scottie, if she's running against him? Wouldn't that be a clear case of A implies not A?

I think AA's explanation is more cogent. Bloomie is trying to buy some street cred after all the Nannie State extravaganzas he's been pushing.

Tecs, you have not learned the perfection of Hegelian Logick. Next time that you and AA are quaffing beer at the Mission and gloating that you're having the ribeye with black truffles while blathering on about great things are with roT rotting away in solitary at a Hospital, ask AA and he will explain the beauty of Hegelian Logic. He is a big fan and corrupts the young with that shit.

Herr Rott has a point. When shit hits the fan that's Hegelian Logik in Praxis.
