Yeah, right, so says Binnie. But I thought Michael Moore & assorted moonbats do not even believe Binnie did it, yes?

could you hypothesize on binnie's motive here ?

and do you have a source for moore stating binnie is inniocent ?

Well, I cannot speak for Binnie, but I imagine he's trying to sow confusion and discord among the ghiaours. It's jihad 101.

As for MM & friends, I lost track of all their grassy knoll theories, you can look it up here. One of the most moonbatty theories belongs to a French gauchiste, of course. I'm sure he's the toast of the town on Rue Buci.

Too kooky even for the Guardian? Hmmm.... Looks like the French lap it up.
Binnie? Just a right-wing fantasy.

The Frightening Fraud, by Thierry Meyssan, sold out its original run of 20,000 copies within two hours of going on sale. "We've sold 2,500 copies in 10 days, when a blockbuster novel sells maybe 1,500 in a month," a spokesman at Fnac Les Halles, one of France's biggest bookshops, said. "It's a phenomenon."

Mr Meyssan's conspiracy theory argues that American Airlines flight 77, which killed 189 people when it smashed into the headquarters of the US defence department, did not exist, and that the whole disaster was a dastardly plot dreamed up and implemented by the US government.

Binnie transcript. Sounds like your typical Angry Lefter: no connection, BUSH LIED!!!! Life imitates the Onion.

'So the conclusion is that all the prisoners to date have no connection with the events of Sept 11th and knew nothing about them, with the exception of two of the brothers, may Allah free them all.

'Bush and his administration are aware of this fact, but they avoid mentioning it, for reasons not hidden to the discerning. Among these reasons is that it is necessary to create justifications for the massive spending of hundreds of billions on the Defense Department and other agencies in their war against the Mujahideen.

Meyssan ? Is this the best you can come up with ? The guy is a looser wacko conspiracy theorist that is certainly not more representative of French opinion than Coulter/Limbaugh are (I would argue less so given the audience of the latter). Arguments are going to reach yet another level of stupidity if we go down that path.

the brother Moussaoui was arrested two weeks before the events, and had he known anything -- however little -- about the Sept 11th group, we would have told the brother Commander Mohamed Atta and his brothers -- Allah have mercy upon them -- to leave America immediately before their affair was exposed.

yup. 9/11 was carefully planned. I've argued this before but OBL is a smart cookie and I can't imagine why he would have compromised his operation by sharing anything with the obviously disturbed Zack.

'Bush and his administration are aware of this fact, but they avoid mentioning it, for reasons not hidden to the discerning. Among these reasons is that it is necessary to create justifications for the massive spending of hundreds of billions on the Defense Department and other agencies in their war against the Mujahideen.'

Man, I am really starting to like this guy.

Meyssan may be a "looser wacko" but he's laughing all the way to the bank after selling half a million of his nutjob theories to the sophisticated French & other willing buyers. At any rate, if anyone wants to dwelve into these tinfoil swamps, here is a short compendium and analysis.

By the way, this article points to a Zogby poll according to which, half of NYC residents believe in some form of Michael Moore/Thierry Meyssan 9/11 conspiracy theory. Sad...

>>meyssan made $ from his bs
you mean as opposed to limbaugh / coulter ?

Tecumseh said...

As far as I know, neither Coulter nor Limbaugh made any wild accusations such as Meyssan did. Making disparaging comments about the likes of Chirac or Villepin is not in the same category as the blood libel leveled by that individual against the US government (which, by the way, declared him since persona non grata). If Meyssan were not already French, he would be declared Honorary Parisian by Delanoe, fer sure.

The Darkroom said...

>>honorary parisian
the art of extrapolation again ? lemme fit a high-order polynomial through that baby and see where it goes ?

A popular Frenchman:

The Darkroom said...

ok but what is your point ?

How droll, Pepe Le Kloset Kossist desperately trying to set distance between himself and Meyssan?? The same distance as between himself and Mickle Le Moor?
