Pepe, get ready...
...for another ho-bag and her husband moving into the French Quarter of the Big Easy. (JJ, out of courtesy and FCP tradition, I'll leave the pic-posting to you). [This OK? -JJ]

Cool. NO needs the money and the attractions.
That's the pitts.
Even partially corrupt politicians would be a step up from what the Big Easy has been electing these days, and in past decades. Otherwise the money is just going to go to legislator freezers.
Sounds like those fellahs are really focused on what it means to be "black."
In the meantime, whenever humanity wants to abandon race for ethnicity, I'm ready to join. I'll just keep extending a personal hand to anyone who doesn't want to kill me (eg., Islam Militant).
So you hit the link under the "pic" I posted. You bad, mft! Enquiring minds want to know. I looked at that manifesto and thought more along the lines of commies, but if you prefer madrassahs, what's the difference?
Another thing came to mind, though. A long time ago when the National Lampoon was funny, there was a fake news article in which some wacko was holding a couple flies hostage in a canning jam and was threatening to give them a slow death by starvation if the US Gov't didn't meet some insane demands.
I thought of that during their demands section at the bottom of the article.
These guys are pulling hard so that New Orleans stays poor, Black, and violent, and are doing so poorly and violently.
Gimme Brangelina anytime.
Whoa, just about missed this response, JJ (things tend to get buried in all the posting).
Gimme Brangelina anytime.
Decent wordsmithing, JJ. I don't think I've ever heard Brad getting too political about much, if any. New Orleans is so messed up from the bottom-up and from the top-down.
Commies have been known to do whatever they can to flame and perpetuate the race war within America, viewing it as another class struggle of sorts. Some commie chick at the U of Minnesota got pissed at me once 'cause I told her the "Race" question on the census was loaded with vulgar Darwinism. I think she accused me of being some type of fascist (it was before the term "neo-con" got trendy).
