I thought everyone would help us now that evil Bush is out. Wasn't that the point of electing the new sheriff?

Pepe le Pew said...

no - everyone will help with the next war, provided it is legal: obama was elected partly on an agenda of ending this one, 'member ?

Mr Rot, Mr Rot -- you are trying to think logically, in a musty, Aristotelian/Cartesian way. This is so petty bourgeois. You gotta learn Newlogic -- the Pepean way to look at things. Get on with the program, willya?

As I was writing, Pepe came up with a new gem of his indescribable "logic". What, pray, makes the Iraq War "illegal"? Just repeating bullshitty pinko propaganda does not hack it, except in your make-believe world.

Pepe le Pew said...

the war was never authorized by the UN security council.

Yes, Tecs, I am still reeling from Pepe's answer.

I thought the pinkomania would abate if we got a dyed in the wool wooly in the WH, but he's getting worse.

Illegal wars. Interesting.

Pepe: last I checked, our Constitution is the Constitution (you know, the one allegedly shredded by W), not the UN Charter. And our C in C is rthe President, not the UN General Secretary. As a card-carrying pinko, though, I imagine these concepts are too hard to grasp for you.

Pepe le Pew said...

yeah but the US signed the charter and, as a treaty, all members are bound by its articles. even americans.

The Charter was stupid thing to sign, but even so, all the resolutions and (most importantly) Saddam's non-compliance with the cease-fire agreements rendered the Charter irrelevant.
