the beauty of this of course is that it is taking place in iowa. Were it in NY or SF, you could think it is contained but this is saying loudly one thing: Texas is next!
It's more that I believe in letting people lead their lives as they choose and don't see it as any of my business to dictate their private issues. And as a conservative, you should too.
The typical pinko conceit, whereby a monte-card trick with logical thinking turns a non-sensical demand into something obvious (but of course), and a refusal to acquiesce in the attempted imposition into a neaderthalesque (or worse) attempt to "dictate their private issues" (whatever that means).
This is so typical of the way the Left operates. What irritates me the most is the utter conceit, and the blatantly dishonest way in which the tortured pinko "logic" is used to advance the Left's political agenda. Orwell got it absolutely right -- one can't really add to his insight from way back when, when he summed up for all time the Socialist modus operandi.
avoiding a direct answer again ? tec, speak to the argument: saying "this is bullshit" doesn't make it so.
Specifically, how do you reconcile the supposed conservative principle whereby people should lead their lives as they see fit (provided that it doesn't infringe on other people's freedom) with your stance on this issue?
