Interesting. Hard to tell if the scramjet is Coandesque or the opposite.

Opposite: Whereas Coanda put an independent recip engine in a pipe to do the compressing, the scramjet has absolutely no compressor.

Similar: Both will likely blow up.

Eventually. But the scramjet looks cool. I also like the idea of those nearly-60-year-old BUFFers still frying chickens, like in the good ole days.
