Koffi's just the echo chamber here. Besides, I am not sure the present admin has anything to brag about in terms of foreign policy - at this point, they could pretty much take anybody's advice.
Look - I really don't understand how you guys can justify supporting a policy that is so obviously failing. I have so far not heard a single argument disputing the fact that the US is proving unable to control the situation. Or that it ever will be - one thing for sure is that things are getting worse each day. It's certainly cute that y'all believe in america's capability to win at anything but that notion isn't matched by the data in the field.
Incidentally, here's today's body count, strangely similar to yesterday's, and the days before, and....
"Abject" surrender is what one gets when one fails to achieve one's military goals. How about face-saving surrender ? You've brought in a democratic system, freedom bells are ringing - mission accomplished.

So now we're listening to the foreign policy recommendations of Kofi Annan? Does anyone else find this problematic?
Yeah. Kofi Annan as an arbiter of anything but his own family's and employer's corruption is entertaining in the extreme.
What's next, Pepe? Noriega despises US troops? Gaddafi condemns Reagan? Chirac runs circles around Bush?

About said policy support, Pepe, wouuld you care to propose an alternative policy other than abject surrender?
