It's the Danes' fault!!!
For 139 people getting killed in mob riots, says the Guardian. Yet they show their fabled impartiality by giving kudos to "fervent rightwing Americans" for supporting free speech, and buying Danish. I guess this means "wimpish leftwing Euros" don't, right?

The hard core of evil gets named too, AI:Most Danish Muslims are still disillusioned with Denmark's prime minister. His alliance with President George Bush, his decision to send Danish troops to Afghanistan and Iraq, and his recent trip to Camp David, make them wince.
This is a repulsive piece of journalism worthy of al-Guardian.
JJ, you have a better stomach than I -- I only skimmed through the article. But how could not I guess that they would get down to brass tacks, and get to what they (and Hugo) think is the Beast!
You're right: this article is plumbing new lows. Sometimes I feel like crying out loud, as Joe Welch did long-ago: "Have you no sense of decency, sir? At long last, have you left no sense of decency?"
Another point to make is that by simply exercising their free speech, the Danes have discovered their allies and their allies have discovered them. We were talking about something like this in the comments here.
Good point. I think such a phenomenon has a name in Chemistry or Physics, but I forgot exactly. I'll out a deciliter of VCP on my tab if you can remind me.
While at it, how does one search this blog? The search faciities here are pitiful, and google is not much better for this...
A 'small world'?
Right. The search utility only searches posts, not the comments. That sucks. I have been wanting to find a (pay) hosting svc for this but haven't succeeded. Pepe knows a guy but he didn't do blogs and has disappeared.
I also wanted alerts for new comments. I would be willing to put a few monthly bucks into it.
Of course, if one goes public, then the blog becomes searchable by the bots. But that could have a chilling effect, unless you have tons of Danish blood, and veins full of akvavit.
We're getting hit by enough outsiders. We were public for a while but outsiders' comments seemed a pain to clean up.
Look. We're getting crawled.
Yes, but barely. There surely were more than 2 references to ouzo, I'd think. How about Versailles?
Right. We got crawled in April.
