Aha, now I understand what AA meant by that pithy title. The first piece didn't really speak to me: The One holding forth before an adoring crowd in Strasbourg, and responding to inane questions from some idiotic American babes with some droning nonsense? OK, where's the story? Dog bites dog.
But this short piece by John Crace (from the Guardian? pinch me to believe it!) is much more revealing--and biting. This is much more of a man bites dog story.
