Andy McCarthy is becoming a bit annoying -- he's just too seething and bitchy at times like this. And not very gallant towards Peggy. So OK, she swooned for a while for Obama. Give the woman a break, willya?
At any rate, even when I don't fully agree with Peggy Noonan, I enjoy reading her columns. She simply writes well. You can still tell why Ronnie picked her as his main speechwriter -- she probably helped him with a couple of his best speeches. Being ungallant to such a woman is simply boorish.
I don't know about giving her a break. I sure ain't giving no break to Brooks who is now seeing what was obvious to everyone without a UC education...
That said, out in public, do you really want to holler like that under your byline?
