I like the idea, and am glad this testing worked.
I would hope it plays out just as well in real time, even with a thick fog of war in the eastern Mediterranean, where one knows an attack is always eminent, but not precisely when it's coming.
Glad to see we're finally making progress on that front, yes -- despite all the carping and sabotaging for the past 23 years from the usual suspects.
As for the Eastern Med, I don't think this is the type of anti-missile missiles you want. The good ole Patriot batteries are better at short-range intercepts, I think. Also, I think they got better since the Gulf War, though I don't have stats at the top of my finger.
