Mr. del Toro doesn't deny that Guevara's persona had some darker aspects
Benicio Mierda del Toro doesn't give a damn about concentration camps. Really? I guess they were bullshit like terrorism.

del Toro is a rather brilliant actor, no matter the role. Some say that when actors take on a role, the real good actors turn into the characters they portray (not justifying del Toro's sentiments; but it does help to understand them -- he may think he's Che for a while, too).
The movie does get people talking about Che, though. His reputation is romantacized as far as central Asia: some years ago I had a slug of tequila in a Tashkent, Uzbekistan bar named "Che."
