Question: If this were a story from any other country in the region (where this routinely happens, of course), would Pepe even bat an eyelid, let alone post a story on the subject? Don't make me laugh. Of course, his posting has nothing to do with Iraq, or the neighborhood, but is yet another, totally obvious attempt at disparaging the US.

The anti-American obsession (for this is what this is really is -- no matter what the subject matter of the story -- that's but a prop) is one of the defining characteristics (perhaps, the defining characteristic) of the pinko mind. I'll call it ADS: American Derangement Syndrome.
