Vt opts for separate but equal

OK, better than I would have guessed.

A year ago, the New Mexico Human Rights Commission ordered a Christian photographer to pay $6,600 for declining to photograph a lesbian commitment ceremony.
Why not hire Pepe, instead? He'd be the perfect jester at the court. But no, that's not enough for Planet Pepe -- not nearly enough. They want to rub it in, and criminalize any kind of deviation -- even by an iota -- from the Party Line. Uncle Joe smiles under his moustache.

time to tweak the 14th amendment. it's only a matter of time.

tec - i don't know the specifics but this photographer was likely an idiot: i have rentals that i prefer to lease to women and when guys show up, i don't have to tell them the reason their app is declined. likewise, the photographer could have invoked a scheduling conflict. it's his damn right to work with anybody he chooses to.

Pepe, he also has the right (or should) to say what he wants.

There are no laws forcing politeness or shouldn't be.

This is about being forced to accept a job, which is different.

Pepe, Pepe, Pepe. For a second I was thinking you were getting close to perhaps being able oh so slightly to conduct a reasoned discussion, based on logic and facts and the law. But then snap! the pinko mind slipped back into its automatic pilot Pavlovian mode. Hopeless.

answer the argument tec, simply making a statement of (known) belief by calling things "illogical", "sophistic", or "wrong" doesn't make it so.

Pepe, no one is arguing that 'gay marriage' should be criminalized. That makes no sense as 'gay marriage' makes no sense.

You're perfectly free to say we're married.

Maybe the other option for the afroams is better after all.
