They are remarkably simplistic, and I would say even moronic. For example, the explanation of his surname's echo of his cro-magnon ancestors' chomping grounds sounds pretty suspect, particularly as Lusitania is coastal and everything goes on coasts.

There were a lot more likely to be some Norsemen and Arabs than there were any of Genghis' troops in his veins and the surname would have been lost oh, about a thousand years ago, if they even used them.

Another historical hilarity firmly wedded to the corpus callosum of the AAian brain is the perfectly senseless belief that the Portuguese dialect of Spanish is 'closest' to classical Latin as Lusitania was furthest from invasion by Germanic-speaking barbarians.

Ah. Apparently the guys in longboats were all reading their Cicero as were the Arabs. Sounds good. Yes, I do remember seeing in Rome. the Pantheon covered with azulejos, after all.

This hallucinated list goes on and on, and the absolute authority with which AA speaks these pieces of utter nonsense makes one think that he is most certainly a professor of some soft subject at a very highly regarded institution, not only for his self-assuredness, but also for how wrong everything he says is.
