mitt's matters to the extent that it can turn into a powerful political liability but I don't seriously think it is relevant in the least bit.

in the case of dubbyah, it was relevant to the extent that religious fervor inspired policy.

as far as obie-one goes, whether or not he once was a muslim/zoroastrian/pagan/atheist is passed and utterly irrelevant, unless of course you are taking the same political tack than I am with Mitt, whereby anything you can lay on your opponent is fair game.

couldn't get passed the fifth paragraph of the vdh article without falling in a trance.

The only "freedom" you can conceive of is the license of the Aristo to fuck whatever organism or object the moment fancies, without having to be held responsible for its consequences or bother with niceties of the human good. Build the perfect prison of butchery, lined with steel chains for eternity, but give you that license, then you are as content as Commodus.
You believe in no freedom for men, no rights of men, other than than that of the aristo pig, whatsoever. And those you would fight for? None at all.

No. freedom to fuck whomever they please is just one instance of people's right to lead their lives as they choose. You are for the same thing in theory, but in reality, you are saturated with narrow-minded backwater prejudices that conflict with the image you would like to have of yourself. You're really all for freedom as long as it closely follows convention.

Not even close, Le Pew. The Mullah has no problem with debauchery as a substitute for human freedom. That is the Islamic temptation for men like you, and it gathers in, to Ummah or under submission, the useful idiots. What the Mullah can't stand is the freedom of men and woman to be better than animals, to walk unbowed before Gods or Aristos.
