Aahhh, the French youths

Full of so much vigor, and irrepressible élan!

"Authority is clearly needed but we also need dialogue and respect, much more than we had in those neighbourhoods."

Right---dialogue and respect is what's missing here. Go for it, that will do it!

Meanwhile, France's minister for social cohesion, Jean-Louis Borloo, called on citizens to act responsibly because "tensions are raw just as we're in the process of resolving the difficulties".
Who does this idiot think he's kidding?

Pepe is lurking in the Gardens of Versailles, near the plashiest fountain by the noisiest salon, just to make sure that Bitch Reality stays safely out of sight and thoroughly out of mind.

you guys have a problem with that ? Here's what's really going on:
AI is livid with jealousy because everything closes at 9pm in berkeley, that you get lynched by mobs of butchy lorena-bobbit-worshipper whole-foods-check-out-line-kissing lesbians if you simply glance at a woman. All that lack of good healthy fun that these young people are having in paris suburbs is just too much to take for a prisonner of the american version of switzerland.

When I was in Berkeley first thing I wanted to do when the sun went down is burn a car. I must admit.
It was your Benz SUV, though, Pepe!
Envy sucks, you know.

Hey, man, I'm outta Bezerkeley, and back in old Europe. Hah! Missed by a mile.

AI, if you're in Trieste, it's not so far off what Pepe was saying. Those damned Hapsburgs turned everything they ran into into a boring uptight hamlet.
BTW, can you make anything out listening to the local dialect? It's got Slav in it so I don't catch anything.
It's supposed to be the hardest of the Italians.
